Under the personal planned, design and promotion by President Xi Jinping, the first two China International Import Expo (CIIE) scored a resounding success, becoming a major initiative in the history of global trade development with extensive influence at home and abroad. CIIE plays a prominent role in international procurement, investment promotion, people-to-people exchanges and open cooperation, and its comprehensive effect is expanding. Since the beginning of this year, the coronavirus pandemic has been wreaking havoc with the economic and social development of all countries. In this context, the third CIIE will be held at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from November 5 to 10, 2020. We sincerely invite foreign embassies in China, and representative offices of Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR governments to send representatives to the expo. To this end, China International Import Expo Bureau especially provides a dedicated channel for participants to apply for pass.

Scope of application: Necessary visitors from foreign embassies in China, representative offices of Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR governments (excluding specially invited guests and persons entering China for a temporary period)

Type of Pass: Participant Pass; One for accompanying special guest for each country or region.

Application time: 9:00 on Oct. 19 to 17:00 on Oct. 23, 2020 

Safety requirements: All participants should have a valid nucleic acid test negative certificate within 7 days (subject to the testing date) or 5 days (subject to the issue date of report); all participants should monitor their own health status (14-day body temperature record, etc.) and sign the commitment letter on health and keep it for future reference. All participants should register to obtain the “Shanghai QR Code” (Shanghai Epidemic Prevention Health Information Code). Participating units should fill out the Feedback Form of Coronavirus Nucleic Acid Test Information for Participants of 3rd China International Import Expo and its attachment List of Information on Nucleic Acid Tests for Participants of the Third China International Import Expo and affix the corporate stamps. The forms should be uploaded to the system. (Note: Relevant documents can be downloaded from the registration system)
