The sixth China International Import Expo has started accepting applications to hold supporting activities.

Applicants can go to the "Activities" section on the CIIE's official website (www.ciie.org/zbh/en/) for more information.

Ninety-eight supporting activities related to policy interpretation, matchmaking, and investment promotion took place during the fifth CIIE in 2022.

Organizations including the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the International Trade Center, and the Italian Exhibition and Trade Fair Association, as well as China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs, National Medical Products Administration, and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade held activities to focus on hot global issues and interpret new policies of related fields last year.

In addition, the CIIE Bureau and the Bank of China organized trade and investment matchmaking events during the fifth CIIE, which resulted in the signing of 293 tentative deals worth more than $5.9 billion. They also hosted 94 new product launches that garnered the attention of nearly 30 million online viewers.

The successful organization of supporting activities further enhanced the expo's positive role in facilitating trade transactions, two-way investments, industrial cooperation, new product releases, and cultural exchanges.
