Dragon-themed CIIE exhibits celebrate Chinese New Year Release date: 2024-02-10 Source:Multiple
A series of exhibits blending dragon, a Chinese zodiac sign, captured attention at the sixth China International Import Expo.
These products, celebrating the Year of the Dragon, not only contribute to the festive atmosphere but are also leading a new wave of Chinese New Year consumption trends.
Austrian brand Swarovski showcased its Mesmera and Celebrate Wonder series, including the eye-catching Crystal Myriad Dragon and Phoenix collectible for the 2024 Chinese New Year. Each piece of the decoration, adorned with approximately 30,500 Swarovski crystals, has taken craftsmen 308 hours to complete.
Skechers, a regular participant of the CIIE, unveiled dragon-themed children's shoes at the sixth CIIE. Designed with traditional Chinese flair, the shoes feature a detachable dragon head-shaped toy, adding a playful touch and conveying the auspicious spirit of the Chinese New Year.
Lego Group, in its sixth consecutive appearance at CIIE, also unveiled its eye-catching Auspicious Dragon building set, which is brimming with elements of traditional Chinese culture.
At the sixth CIIE, Vacheron Constantin, a renowned watchmaker affiliated with Richemont, unveiled a creation from its Métiers d'Art series featuring an intricately hand-carved dragon.
As a regular participant in the CIIE, Denmark's Kjeldsens offered a sneak peek at its Chinese New Year product, which incorporates Chinese paper-cut dragon patterns into the packaging design. This offering provides Chinese consumers with more shopping choices during the Spring Festival.
Diageo, a multinational liquor company, exhibited items such as Johnnie Walker Year of the Dragon limited editions of Blue Label and XR 21, at the sixth CIIE.
