Italy has confirmed its participation in the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) that will be held in Shanghai this November. Italian Ambassador to China Ettore Francesco Sequi believes that this event is an ideal opportunity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of China’s opening-up.

“We shall present all the products and tools that can show to the Chinese public how rich our cooperation is, but how even richer it can become”, the ambassador stated in an interview.

He said that Italy shall have, for instance, high-tech equipment, medical services devices and food accessories.

“I think there will be a complete variety of the best Italy can offer. And the message that we want to give is that we are ready to cooperate, and we want to present in terms of quality, technological innovation and Italian creativity”, he added.
