Turkish Consul-General in Shanghai Sabri Tunc Angili stated in an interview that the China International Import Expo (CIIE) is a very good and positive message from China that the country is ready to further open its market.

Turkish Minister of Economy has sent a letter to Chinese Minister of Commerce, highlighting the importance and confirming its parts special to this expo, he said.

As to the products that Turkey is eager to export to China, the consul general thinks highly of its food industry and auto parts machinery industry.

Turkey recently signed with China about an agreement to sell the Turkish dairy products. If everything goes well, Turkey's dairy products are expected to exhibit at the CIIE.

Apart from that, tourism and service industry are also worth promoting, said the consul general, adding that Turkey will show their predominant products in various fields to Chinese customers during the first import expo.
