The first China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai this November. Former New Zealand Ambassador to China John McKinnon views that this is an opportunity to showcase a lot of what New Zealand has to offer to people in China.

“I know that people in China like New Zealand's dairy products, but I would also hope that they would look beyond that and realize we have a lot of other things to offer as well. So, for instance, we have fish, seafood and prime meat and so forth”, said the former ambassador.

Moreover, he noted that New Zealand is also a technologically advanced society with a lot of creativity in it, adding that in the areas like health care, film and education there are many things that he believes Chinese consumers, parents and travelers would be interested in.”
