Before the Exhibition

1. The exhibition contract that has been agreed upon and signed must stipulate clauses protecting intellectual property, guaranteeing that the exhibits, exhibit packaging, booth design, publicity materials and other display areas of the booth (hereinafter collectively referred to as “exhibition project”) do not infringe on the intellectual property rights (IPR) of others.

2. The IPR of exhibition projects must be reviewed to prevent exhibitors from infringing on the IPR of others. If any exhibitor needs to apply for IPR in China for exhibition projects, relevant Chinese laws and regulations shall be applied.

3. Have an understanding of the IPR protection services of China International Import Expo (CIIE), as well as the relevant provisions on measures for suspected infringement of IPR, and reasonably formulate the IPR protection scheme for exhibition projects.

During the Exhibition

1. Provide the relevant IPR certificates and supporting materials to effectively prevent and quickly deal with possible IPR disputes and better protect the legitimate rights and interests of exhibitors.

2. In case of IPR disputes, exhibitors shall cooperate with the Intellectual Property Protection & Commercial Dispute Resolution Service Center to resolve issues in accordance with the relevant provisions of Measures for Suspected Infringement of IPRs at the CIIE.

3. If the exhibitor infringes on the IPR of others, the exhibitor shall bear the corresponding legal responsibilities in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations in China.
