- 1. What are the activities under the People-to-people Exchange at the Sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE)?
- The People-to-people Exchange will set up five exhibition areas for Hongqiao International Urban Reception Room, Chinese Time-honored Brands, Intangible Culture Heritage, National Pedestrian Streets, and China Tourism respectively, which will focus on showcasing worldwide cultural and artistic charm through exhibitions characterized by local humanities and economy, city stories, industrial development, social customs, and specific themes.

- 3.What do the hosts of the People-to-people Exchange activities at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) need to do?
- (I) Confirm exhibition content: Consult in a timely manner with the China International Import Expo Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on matters such as exhibition content, location and area, contract signing, and the details of participation in CIIE.(II) Organize activities: Select exhibitors in time for supply and demand matchmaking and ensure good organization for exhibition activities.(III) Submit personnel information: Timely provide personal information of personnel (activity organizers, on-site staff, etc.) who intend to participate in activities to be held in the CIIE venue (National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai)) but do not have entry permits for admission certificate handling (see Question 4). (IV) Issue certificates: For persons whose information has been submitted, the CIIE will follow procedures to examine and make the documents, which will be issued to the hosts by the Certificate Preparation Center or Organizing Committee.
- 4. How do hosts of the People-to-people Exchange activities at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) use the certificate filling system?
- (I) Obtain a username and password: The confirmed host will receive a notice from the Organizing Committee of the China International Import Expo Bureau, including the website for system login, the exclusive user name of the host, the filling quota set by the system, etc., and the host can log in to the system and fill in the personnel information.(II) Submit personnel information: Timely provide personal information of personnel (activity organizers, on-site staff, etc.) who intend to participate in activities to be held in the CIIE venue (National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai)) but do not have entry permits for admission certificate handling (personal information includes name, ID number, place of domicile, current place of residence, mobile phone number, photo, etc.).(III) Submit vehicle information: The host shall submit the vehicle license information online in accordance with the application requirements of the system and the designated area.(IV) Maintain timely communications: The hosts need to check relevant notices in the system in time.
- 5. What certificates should participants of the People-to-people Exchange activities have?
- Participants of the People-to-people Exchange activities (including activity organizers and on-site staff) must apply for exhibition permits (specially for the People-to-people Exchange). Each person can only apply for one certificate to enter the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). If participants already have certificates for exhibitors of Business Exhibition and certificates for buyers, special guests, and trade missions that allow entry to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), then there is no need to apply for exhibition certificates of People-to-people Exchange activities. Participants who do not yet have admission certificates for entering the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) shall submit personal information to the hosts as required. The hosts shall submit this information to the organizing committee and apply for certificates (specially for the People-to-people Exchange). After the certificates are made, the hosts shall issue relevant personnel with their certificates so that they can enter the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
