In line with President Xi Jinping's important instruction of making CIIE "continued success in the years to come",the China International Import Expo Bureau, Bank of China and National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) are going to jointly hold the Trade and Investment Matchmaking Conference amid the 5th CIIE. Upholding the concept of "turning exhibits into commodities and exhibitors into investors", the conference will continue making an effort to promote cross-border cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises at home and abroad, seeking a boost in sharing new opportunities for development. Also, the conference will further deepen the integration of investment and trade, negotiations and roadshows, industry and finance, products and services, online and offline matchmaking.

VI. Main Contents

The Trade and Investment Matchmaking Conference will spotlight exhibition areas including Food and Agricultural Products, Automobile, Intelligent Industry & Information Technology, Consumer Goods, Medical Equipment & Healthcare Products, and Trade in Services. Besides, it will set up a special section for innovation incubation matchmaking.

During the conference, participating enterprises will be invited to have several rounds of one-to-one negotiations and cross-border online matchmaking activities every day. Meanwhile, “Top 1,000 Towns and Top 100 Counties” special matchmaking area will be set up to provide a negotiating and consuming platform for intended exhibitors and buyers from these places. Also, the “Innovation Incubation Special Section”will be built for dredging contact channel between local governments, industrial parks, financial institutions and innovation incubation exhibitors from Automobile Exhibition Area, Intelligent Industry & Information Technology Exhibition Area, Consumer Goods Exhibition Area and Medical Equipment & Healthcare Products Exhibition Area.

Review

From November 6 to 8, 2021, under the sponsorship of the China International Import Expo Bureau, National Exhibition and Convention Center(Shanghai) and Bank of China, the Trade and Investment Matchmaking Conference of the 4th CIIE was grandly unveiled in the National Exhibition and Convention Center(Shanghai). Since the first CIIE, the conference has attracted more than 3,800 exhibitors and 7,800 buyers from over 100 countries and regions, resulting in more than 4,500 cooperation intentions.
